2 VERY Thick Books but not the usual Amish Stories I love to Read
They are from Dave Ramsey
I think My Hubby Would Marry Him if he could
He works a lot and drives a lot and listens to him on the Radio all the time
We have recently decided that its time to BUCKLE DOWN -
Buckle Down Down Down.... OMG!  I am soooo scared!
We have to read, watch videos, and TALK TO EACH OTHER about MONEY!

Now I am really Scared.
So Have you used a plan like this before-  Have you been successful with it--- Are you debt Free?
We dont Use credit cards, and Have a Car and House to Pay off- along with some student loans.
Not too much but we already live on such a tight budget I just dont know where we are going to be able to CUT BACK at but we are going to try.

Applique' Nightmare!

So I have bought several Applique' Items.
Have you?
Everyone Loves a Customized product and we are usually willing to pay the big $$ for it.  So its soooooo disappointing to get a cape, or shirt, etc...with a special applique' on it only to have it come off.
Now you have a blank item that you apparently overpaid for.

I have one item that the baby didnt even get to wear before it was peeling up.

That is why I prefer Sewn Applique' ..you know the Real Crafty Kind.
I have a friend who hand draws, hand cuts, and then sews them on.
These are not going to peel up for sure and are WORTH the $$.

Iron on is OK for do-it-yourself I think or from someone who can guarantee that its not going to peel up before its first wear or in the first wash!

Here are some tips!
Stictch it even after ironing on for the best results

• Cotton is the best fabric to use with an iron-on applique. Cotton is breathable, comfortable and bonds easily with iron-on adhesive. Choose a T-shirt, tank, shorts or tote bag. As long as the garment can lay flat, you can put applique on it. Wash the item before you apply the iron-on to avoid shrinking, which would cause the applique to crack or peel.

If your going to sell something you should make sure its going to last!
Test your products before selling them.
A customer does not always tell you when something goes wrong so the only way to know is to test for your self.  Have a friend or family member test for you.  Its better than having a disappointed customer.
